The Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia have gone through a major restructure. One of the big goals is cutting down on time and expense that people have to spend in Court and on Court matters. This is a huge revamp of the public and internal systems, with a goal to get difficult matters of children and property dealt with as quickly as possible in the Courts.
One of the great frustrations of people going through family law matters has been how long it takes to get to the end and have a direction for yourself and your children. Taking steps to cut down on the delays is a great move forward.
